Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva has worked in the medical field for over three decades. An accomplished medical executive, he supports the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) as the associate executive director and serves as director of the AAP’s Department of Subspecialty Pediatrics and medical director for Quality Initiatives. He has been responsible for obtaining important grant funding and establishing new initiatives and departments. Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva shares his professional expertise with medical students, residents, and fellows as a professor of pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Sachdeva began his successful career after earning his bachelor of medicine from the Armed Forces Medical College in India. He completed clinical training in pediatrics, sleep medicine, and pediatric critical care medicine and has expanded his educational background with a DBA in management sciences, a PhD in epidemiology, and a JD.

Over the years, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva has gained valuable experience in medical quality, executive leadership, and investigation through his work at such organizations as the National Outcomes Center, Baylor College of Medicine, and National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions. In these positions, he has proven his ability to create and fund new programs that improve the quality and success of medical care.
